This year's will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Termination Dust Tournament in Anchorage, AK. AHA is proud to host the Termination Dust the 1st two weekends in October each year. It marks the end of the High School age competitive season and our younger teams will settle into their hockey season.
What makes the Termination Dust Tournament unique from the other tournaments offered in the State? We offer the longest period lengths (16 mins for 1st weekend and 14 mins for 2nd weekend) and ALL Games are played to a winner! This year, we're adding some more favor with our sudden victory format. If a game is tied after regulation, then the teams will start with a 3v3 sudden victory OT. If the score remains tied, then the teams will play a 2v2 sudden victory OT. If the game is still tied then we'll play 1v1 sudden victory OT... if the game is still tied after our three OT periods then we jump immediately into a sudden victory shoot-out! This will make for some exciting hockey!
All Games will be played at Ben Boeke & Dempsey Anderson Ice Arena. More information about Termination Dust Tournament will be updated shortly.
The registration fee is $1,895 and registration will close on Friday, September 8th, 2023
