Anchorage Golf Academy (AGA) is a new recreational program designed to teach the fundamentals of golf to kids (2005-2012 birth years) and ability level. AGA is the 2nd non-hockey sport created under Anchorage Hockey Association (AHA). One of our goal at AHA, is to offer multiple sports for our athletes, It’s so important for young athletes to take a break from one sport and try new things. At AHA, we’re a big believer in this philosophy, we want to help develop the athlete first and then the hockey player. By offering multi sports that all complement hockey, we hope to make the decision to take a break from hockey easier for our members.

Anchorage Golf Academy (AGA) is a new recreational program designed to teach the fundamentals of golf to kids of all ages and ability level. No experience needed. AGA will be offering a spring program that will meet once a week for 7 consecutive weeks at Fox Hollow Chalet. This will be a great opportunity for kids to develop some golf fundamentals before the summer months ahead. No clubs are needed. Everything will be provided for students at class. Classes will be limited to 24 students with a 6 to 8 per coach ratio to ensure each student is provided the best attention and development of skills.
Participants will be broken up into smaller groups based on their experience and skill level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Each week players will learn or hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf fundamentals.
