Congratulations to the AHA 18U Blankenship team for taking 2nd place in the ASHA Midget 18U B State Championship in Fairbanks. Most of the kids (9) on this team have been playing together since they were 11 yrs. old and are now aging out of Youth Hockey and moving on to the senior leagues. Yes, there were some tears shed in the locker room after the game, but not because they didn't win the championship but rather because this was the last game they would every play together.
A big thank you to all of their AHA Coaches over the years: Coach Gross, Carol, Bowman, Kessler, Dyok, Miller and Blankenship for volunteering your time over the years to help develop their love for hockey #HockeyForLife
AHA is very proud that every one of those kids in this photo played an important part of their run to win the State Championship.
