8U Mite (“Red Division”) – Our “Red” division is for 7 and 8 year-olds that have had more experience and are willing to make more of a commitment to hockey. The program is designed to challenge each player’s basic skills and make sure they are ready for 10U Squirt hockey. Players will skate three times a week, two practices and have one half-ice game (4 vs 4 with goalies) on the weekend. Games will be scheduled against teams from other 8U recreational programs in Anchorage, Eagle River and the Mat-Su Valley. Fee includes ice time, ref fees, jersey, socks, jamboree/tournament entry fees.
