Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate Division-Is a twice a week program introduces skating and hockey fundamentals for kids aged 4 years and older. The season has multiple sessions from September to March.  Fee includes ice time, jersey (for first-time players), and socks. Our “LTS” is designed to provide a fun enjoyable experience where your child will learn the fundamentals of basic hockey skating. This program is not only for kids new to hockey, but kids needing a little more work on their basic skating skills. We recommend that children be at least 4 years old to participate in our LTS program. From our coaching staff's experience, we feel a child who is at least 4 years of age is ready to grasp basic skating fundamentals and has the ability to be in a group environment. We also understand there is always an exception to the rule and we have had many children under 4 years of age participate in our LTS. This is a case by case basis and you'll need to contact the Mite (8U) Director to discuss your child's situation. Our goal at this level is simple: We want your child to have fun and it’s just as important to develop their passion for the game as their fundamental skills.
